A filming schedule is important to have due to the it keeps the group in order as we know what shots we have to film every time we go out to film and at different locations. Without it we may forget massive segments of our music video and then will therefore have to re-film and re-edit if all shots needed are not captured. Assisted by the storyboard, the filming schedule includes the location, the time and date, shots that will be captured and their length, costume hair and make up, iconography, personnel and equipment used. The filming schedule allows us to have a strict guideline that we must follow and helps error not occur. Otherwise it is fairly easy to miss items out that are high priority and are highly needed for the music video. It also keeps track of all of the shots that we require. As this is a music videos there are hundreds of shots we need to collect so by writing them down it makes it easier for us to keep a schedule of the progression that we are making at each setting. A key factor in this schedule it is being organised, this is why it has been laid out in a table so that we can look through sections with ease maximising filming time.
I feel that we conformed to the filming schedule as intended as we followed the guidelines set out when we created it, we also went further and adapted on this filming outside of the guidelines due to spontaneous ideas while on set, we felt this was needed as it gave us more freedom to express and air our opinions/ideas.
You have made a start in explaining what the purpose of a filming schedule is. However, the table that you have included above does not fully show enough understanding of planning and this is because you have only planned 7 scenes, when you have a lot more include.
ReplyDeleteTherefore, you need to ensure that you have fully followed your storyboards to complete this post.
